Fishing for steel is a completely different argument, but do what you want. AS for never posting any content, here you go.........................

and I would be really worried about this one if I were you guys.

F&G shocked the South Fork in October and for the first time ever rainbow trout and hybrids outnumber cutthroat in the Conant stretch. The population estimate through that reach was 2,270 rainbows per mile and 1,331 cutts per mile through the same stretch.

Also they released data on the voluntary killing of bows by anglers. F&G tagged 500 bows in the South Fork and anglers have reported catching 58 of the tagged fish....however they only killed 30 of them and released the other 28.

If things stay this way the Feds will list the cutts and take over river management.

Hey, that actually is sort of interesting, and scary!
I'd hate for the Snake River cutts (I'm referring to the Yellowstone Cutts in Idaho, not the finespotted cutts above Palisades) to get listed, and the South Fork to be taken away from anglers.
Sort of stupid that anglers are choosing not to kill the rainbows, I agree the Feds might steal this resource from the people. What a shame.
Time for a Rainbow/Hybrid Holocaust on the Snake!
This is one of those instances where catching killing and keeping your limit is a good thing! Fried trout fillets, baked trout steaks, trout mousse, trout cakes, smoked trout, and other yummy things!

It is ok, PsyFish, I don't mind the double team.* That information on the YCT is scary. I first floated the SF in 91 and am shocked at the changes I have seen over the years. Maybe that is why I went off you on the first post............not because of who posted it, but what the post was about. Please, protect the resources you have in Idaho before the feds step in and take it all away. Steel, cutts, bulls, or those squaw minnows.

*another gay reference

Oh, and here is some content that only Sasha could love.

But for the rest of you...........

Anybody can know any IP address of almost any computer pretty easily. It's not super duper voodoo to figure it out.

I didn't start ganging up on anybody. I would read the thread more carefully before saying that.

I run the site, not anyone else.

Thank you for posting the good info about the YCT, I'm sorry my post rubbed you the wrong way, but I do seriously understand the responsibility I have when I catch a Bull Trout, I'm sorry I didn't make that clear.

Psycho Fish, this is not how this site is normally. Normally it is totally boring!
also @ Psycho Fish: Did you see my new fly, the Burninator? (lol)

P.S. @ Sasha: Sorry about pulling your mod credentials, there's a tactical reason for that.

I did catch that, but many folks out on the internet that may want tips on catching them won't. And is it possible to change my name to carp_slut?

I can change it for you, if you like.
I disabled username changes so I can keep track of who is who (so I can track troublemakers.) but I will change it for you. If you want it changed back, or whatever, let me know.

Damn straight! I love hiking into and fishing small waters with my ultra light rods. I know it is not everybody's cup of tea but I love it.

Oh and I took the time and read your more informative post about the YCT. Thanks for posting that.
