I like Davie's videos. I just saw a caddis pattern of his I am planning on tying up a slug of this winter. It looks delicious.

Is it an adult caddis, or a pupa? I tied a simple little gold beadhead pupa with a flash rib from one of his videos, it was my most productive subsurface fly everywhere I tried it. There's a pic of it on the contact page of this site.

That pupa looks good, the pattern I am thinking of looks like it could be used as an emerging caddis or an adult. I am mostly interested in fishing it as an emerger. I will try and find the video again one of these days. I could waste alot of time just sitting around watching his videos.
