It's my birthday Thursday, taking the day off, but I have no vehicle. My girlfriend has to work, so I'm stuck in town.
The weather forecast looks favorable, & I want to go to the SFB to celebrate, but I have no way of getting there! Who around here has Thursday off, and wants to go fishing? I can certainly contribute to the trip, I'm not asking for a free ride, I just want to go somewhere and fish! It doesn't have to be @ the South Fork, either, just my current inclination.

Well I still can't find my damn camera. I will write a report later and include the few photos you were able to get (too bad the frickin camera was set up wrong for the photo of your "little" catch) once I get them.

Yeah, it is too bad about my fish photo, but I am not upset, fish that size aren't uncommon in the south fork. I'll get you some pics later tonight when I get home.

No need to apologize, I was just givin you crap Don't worry about the 3wt keep it for a while and fish it (don't give me that right hand set-up excuse either). It will be a nice change from those broomsticks you fish ) Oh I know that wasn't an ultra huge fish for that river. It just would have been cool to get a good pic that's all.

I guess I'm just going to get drunk (only happens once or twice a year, I swear!) and tie midges and comparadun variations...there are worse fates.

P.S. brr it's freakin' cold! Sour grapes.

If I was up there, I'd be all over it! Right now we are focusing on tying up all the loose ends here in Cali before our move to Boise. I have 4 weeks left and my wife graduates this friday. she is in final negotiations with Fred Meyers and now we need to find a place to live up there. I'll take ya fishin when I get there pimp, guaranteed. I am going to be needing a "fly fishing ambassador" do you fit that billl? i gotta warn yah, I'm fairly obsessed with tying and fishing. before this year of schooling and financial hardship I was hitting the water at least 10 days a month. Hopefully when we get there I'll be able to double that. I'm thinking about taking up a career in writing and it will take a lot of research! Hope to hok up with you guys when we get ther, tight lines till then!
