I think it would be cool to: Have different areas for reports. You know like the North West, South West, etc. Or a warm water and cold water area might be sufficient. Just no bait/spin crap

Agreed, you could break the country into 6-8 sections. I would go slow though, could get a little busy if you jump into it without enough posters. They will just sit and spoil and like an egg on the heater vent.

I really think it is a bit premature to split the boards into subcategories. If we start getting a large number of active users, we'll definitely do it.
I remain on the fence.
For now, I will leave the categories as they are. If people request more boards, I will weigh that in.

I would agree. Until we get a bunch of reports and such there is no need for a billion different forums. Hell even when the reports come in who cares where they are from, a lot of people just like to read them and look at the pics so no need for a location.
